In terms of Manufacturing, in 1994 Rowan acquired Marathon-LeTourneau Company, gaining an in-house manufacturing capability that is unique within the Oil & Gas Industry. LeTourneau Technologies, Inc. (LTI), which has designed and built all of Rowans’ jack-up rigs, positioned the company to stay at the forefront of jack-up technology. It also affords unparalleled support for Rowans’ drilling operations through timely construction and repair of rigs and equipment.
