The Bahrain Marathon Relay is an annual sporting event organized by the Bahrain Round Table to raise funds for local charities. The race format is 16 legs of approximately 3 kilometers. The race starts and finishes at the Bahrain International Circuit. The 2011 race was a great success and raised more than BD 30,000 for local charities.

The race has earned its reputation over the years to be a favorite among local as well as the expat community, and is considered to be among the most anticipated events in the country. The Marathon Relay is an event that can be enjoyed by everyone. 100+ teams (businesses, schools, universities and individuals) take part in this event. While the top 20 teams are serious runners and the top 10 teams often include many international runners, most teams enter purely for the fun of participating in the event. Many of the runners in the lower placed teams only run once a year in the relay.
