January 22, 2012 - Rawabi Holding was placed in the top 20 of 115 companies in the Saudi General Investment Authority's Responsible Competitiveness Index (SARCI) and it secured the #1 spot in the category of Building a Nationally Competitive Workforce in the prestigious King Khalid Award for Responsible Competitiveness SARCI, now in its fourth year, which aims to help businesses in the Kingdom improve their competitive performance, and to help improve the Kingdom's competitive performance and social and environmental development, through the way companies manage their environmental and social footprints. Led by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and the King Khalid Foundation, the Index analyses performance through a cutting-edge analytical tool, provides confidential benchmarking and customized recommendations to help all participating companies to improve their performance. The Index uses a detailed questionnaire to identify how Saudi companies manage social and environmental issues throughout their business' core operations. This questionnaire has focuses on those areas of environmental and social performance most vital to improving strategic and responsible competitive advantage. This includes:
