In October, Gymboree Play & Learn Al Khobar stood out for this commitment amongst other franchisees in the company at the Annual International Conference in the USA. Gymboree Play & Learn Al Khobar was recognized for "Outstanding Community Service & Outreach". This award was presented as an appreciation of the CSR events and outreach services to the community Gymboree Play & Learn has made. These include sponsorship of Cancer Foundation Charity Dinner, hospital visits to children with cancer over Eid, involvement in GCC Road Safety Week, Aramco Dental Health Week, Earth Day, Guest speakers at the Eastern Province 'Teachers of Young Children' workshop and visits to local schools including Saudi and International schools.
