Rawabi Holding supports local and international foundations and organizations as well as individual efforts to contribute to community development in various sectors, including health, education and culture; employment skills development; technology; and wealth generation. Rawabi Holding invests in several charity organizations, including the Saudi Cancer Foundation and the Saudi Endocrine and Diabetes Association. By supporting such groups and initiatives, Rawabi Holding seeks to provide an improved quality of life and encourage a culture of wellness.

 

RAWABI’S COMMUNITY INVESTMENT CONTRIBUTIONS INCLUDE:

 

The Saudi Cancer Foundation

Was established in March 2004 to raise awareness about cancer, its causes and methods of treatment and prevention, as well as to provide moral support and education for cancer patients and their relatives through a network of volunteers, doctors and specialists in this area.

 

Saudi Endocrine and Diabetes Association

Which was established over 25 years ago to develop the integrated health care services provided to endocrine and diabetic patients in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, support patients, train medical staff and promote community awareness to prevent and control the diseases in a professional manner.

 

The Rawabi Holding UK Awards

Which are distributed annually at the Saudi British Society’s annual dinner in London. The awards honor two British citizens of high merit, based on their outstanding contributions to Saudi-British relations.

 

The Annual Charity Run

15 Years of Success in the Pursuit of Noble Humanitarian Goals

 

The idea of an annual charity run came about because the people of the Eastern Province are well-established in charity work and cherish their country and community. The idea was advanced into action by a number of sincere businessmen, charity donors and parents of some students. It materialized based on a professional system that depends largely on volunteers who became models of generosity, giving and the love of good deeds throughout the years of charity occasions with revenues directed to charity services for important sectors of the society that needed them.

 

After several years of success and advancement, all the people of the Eastern Province became aware of the goals and objectives of the Run. Businessmen, companies and establishments took part in the activities in order to realize their goals and objectives. The idea became part of the annual program of the Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation. Other areas of the Kingdom copied it in order to achieve several benefits for the community.
